What electronics do you carry

We carry the normal GPS (TomTom) and the normal no-hands cell phone set-up (Parrot) and also the Scan Gauge.

Since we do have solar power and a 2000w inverter/converter we can power other items. In the kitchen a microwave and a rice cooker. Not both at once and for the rice-cooker normally only while plugged in to 110v.

One of these days I have to figure out the math on what we produce electric wise and what we use.

In addition we carry my Acer Aspire One netbook, tiny and easy to store and our Sony DVD player. Both of these have excellent battery life and recharge while we drive

to be used unplugged in the evening. Debbie brings her work laptop on most trips and if she has to connects via Verizon as we drive along.

I have thought about a CB having lived in the heyday of Rubber Ducky and convoys but figure that would interupt the music loaded on my Zune (almost forgot that).

Carry a loptop and can show DVDs with that – and also have a Delorme GPS set up on it. We use it to back up the IPOD – external speakers can be used on the laptop or the IPOD. Have Skype on the laptop if the cellphone is not in the area and Wifi is. Carry a crockpot in a cabinet that can be plugged in underwaya or with shore power. Have a 1500 watt inverter. and a 250 amphour battery. Also have a microwave in the Sprinter. Setting this up top gpo tp Alaska – no solar yet.
Have a small electric heater that we can use if on shore power – if we don’t want the Newfoundland in bed with us to keep warm…
