Use this weekend to get ready for a trip into the high sierra and camping! That’s right. Go for it! Be spontaneous! Time to see the fall colors, camp in the boonies at 7800′ feet and tell lies around the campfire.

Next week-end at least a dozen of us will be in the mountains at 37°20’10.80″N 119° 9’22.44″W (or close anyway) at at Sample Meadows Campground. While the majority will have some type of Sportsmobile anyone who want to get away is invited. It is an easy route for 2wd RV’s to the campground. Here is the route from Fresno. You can enter your address and get turn by turn directions with photos of all the intersections. Some are arriving Thursday, some Friday. We will get there Thursday and pull out on Sunday.

There are no hookups or water so plan accordingly. We really would like to see you there! Now I have to start gathering the gear.
