Keith and Debbie

I was raised in a small town with lots of skiing, horses, fishing and camping. We used to take a sleeping bag, fishing gear and a skillet and head out. That was all you needed. Not many fences, just miles of open river to fish and camp next to.

I went to school at NMMI (high school and junior college). After that, being the thing to do in those days, I joined the Army and became a combat engineer. I made my way to Special Forces  where I was fortunate to serve with the best. We did some “camping” in the Army as you might imagine.

Debbie and I met while I was teaching SCUBA Debbie on the Denali Highway, Alaska.diving in Santa Barbara, California. I had one of our many Eurovans and I think that was why she decided to keep me. She loved the little kitchen and the challenge of cooking gourmet, vegetarian meals while camping. We have done lots of travel, camping, diving, fishing (me) and more.

We are lucky that we have been as far south as Christchurch, New Zealand and as far north as the Arctic Circle. We have been to the United Kingdom, lots of countries in Europe, several countries in the Middle East and Far East.

Still, North America is hard to beat for scenery, camping, safety, good food and drink and a common language (that we speak). And that is where almost all our travel and adventures are happening now.

Keith at Hart's Pub, Sydney, Australia. This site is to share some of our fun with you. And of course, often it is not the destination, but the road you follow. That is one reason you will find information on Sprinters here, as that is our chosen chariot and my hobby it seems. Oh, yes. Some opinions (probably mine, not Debbie’s) may show up also – they are not meant to offend, only to help my blood pressure.

Please enjoy our site. We hope to see you down the road.
