Summary:
SPRINTER IS RECALLING 277 2008 DODGE OR FREIGHTLINER 2500 TRUCKS.
THE REAR AXLE SPRING LEAVES WERE PRODUCED WITH AN INCORRECT RAW
MATERIAL. THEREFORE THE LEAVES ARE THICKER THAN THE SERIAL COMPONENTS.

Consequence:
THE REAR AXLE SPRINGS MAY FAIL EARLIER THAN DESIGNED INCREASING THE
RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE REAR AXLE SPRINGS FREE OF CHARGE.
THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE.

Norcold has extended the serial number range for the recall of gas absorbtion/electric refrigerators. This effects models 1200LR, 1200LRIM and 1201LRIM manufactured from March 1999 to February 2001.

You can check for the listed serial numbers on your unit which should be visible from the outside of the RV through the intake vent door.
